              Albert

              When 9-year-old Albert arrived at Austin Humane Society as a stray, he was dehydrated, scared, and suffering from digestive issues. 💔 But thanks to a grant from The Grey Muzzle Organization, Albert quickly began the path to recovery.

              He was started on treatment to support his GI tract and received full senior bloodwork screening—which came back normal! 💛 Once his condition stabilized and he began to settle in, Albert underwent a much-needed dental cleaning to address mild dental concerns.

              An exam revealed severe gingivitis and five rotten teeth that needed to be extracted immediately. But like so many loving pet owners facing financial hardship, Sunset’s mom couldn’t afford the dental care on her own. 💔
