Communications Director

Abby Ouimet is a Certified Fund Raising Executive and brings a proven track record of 16 years’ nonprofit experience to The Grey Muzzle Organization.

Administrative Assistant

Amanda started volunteering for Grey Muzzle's social media team in 2014 while living in NC, inspired by her senior Chihuahua, Rudy.

Nancy Amo

Nancy Amo

Financial Consultant

Nancy Amo is currently a principal for One Eleven Business Consulting, providing strategic solutions to nonprofit organizations in the areas of finance, operations, human resources, and compliance. Prior to this, Nancy was Chief Operating Officer for The Nature Conservancy in New York. During her 16-year tenure with The Conservancy, she consulted internally for several programs including Global Youth Engagement and Protected Lands in China.

President

Denise Fleck is an award-winning author, animal care instructor and radio show host who developed the curriculum for her Pet First-Aid & CPCR and Pet Disaster Preparedness Classes after training with dozens of schools and organizations, practicing, attending seminars and practicing some more.

Kelli & Jax

Kelli Chickos

Vice President

Kelli Chickos is a life-long animal advocate with a soft spot for seniors. For more than two decades, Kelli has volunteered in various capacities for many shelters/rescues, fostered more than 30 pets, adopted nearly 20, and helped animals after natural disasters. She is a former CEO at her local humane society and founded a pet retail shop aimed at raising money and awareness for animal rescue.

Jim Pikula

Jim Pikula

Treasurer

Having grown up in a family that has a love for animals and considers dogs to be a part of the family, Jim is excited and honored to serve as a Board Member of Grey Muzzle. He has been fortunate to be around dogs that have lived full and healthy lives, and understands the needs of animals as they age.

Katie Parker, Grants Chair

Katie Parker

Katie Parker has worked in the animal welfare field for over 12 years. She began her career working in animal shelters and has worked as an animal welfare inspector with the Colorado State Veterinarian’s office.

Kristin Korzekwa has loved and been around dogs her entire life. Her “pup” Tess was the inspiration for joining Grey Muzzle to improve the lives of all senior dogs and she's proud to be a part of such a great organization.

Leah Robinson

Board Member

Leah Robinson is the owner and lead designer behind Sweet Virginia Creative, a graphic design, web design and branding studio. She has nine years of experience working in both marketing and advertising fields and now works with clients to develop logos and brand collateral, print designs, as well as websites, digital ads, and social media graphics.

Marc and his wife live in Long Island, New York. Marc is a Vice President with a Construction Management Company in New York City and holds a Business degree, Law degree and MBA from Hofstra University in Long Island.

Sharon Yateman

Board Member

As an educator, social worker, and non-profit executive, Sharon has dedicated her career to working with individuals, institutions, and community organizations to enhance health and well-being for children, adults and families. As an advocate and volunteer for dog rescue, Sharon feels honored to serve on the Board of The Grey Muzzle Organization to promote the joys of senior dog adoption and help at-risk senior dogs to experience love, security and peace.

Dr. Heidi Lobprise graduated from Texas A & M University in 1983 and became a board certified veterinary dentist in 1993. In 2003, she joined the Veterinary Specialty Team of Pfizer Animal Health, and in 2010, she became the Senior Technical Manager for Virbac Corporation.
