Kaia

At 10 years old, Kaia had already been through more than most. After being part of Animal Friends’ Emergency Board program, her owner’s circumstances changed—and Kaia was officially surrendered. 💔

Senior and struggling with arthritis, Kaia had a hard time finding her next chapter. But thanks to support from The Grey Muzzle Organization, she received the medication she needed to ease her joint pain—and a chance to relax in a loving foster home on weekends. 💛

Shadow

When Joyce was suddenly hospitalized after being hit by a car, her world changed in an instant. 💔 With no family able to care for her beloved senior dog, Shadow, he was taken to a local shelter—and Joyce feared she might never see him again.

But fate had other plans. Thanks to a microchip placed by Lionel's Legacy  during one of their #HiptoChip events, the shelter traced Shadow back—not as a former Lionel’s Legacy dog, but through the chip itself. That one connection set everything in motion. 🐾

Snookie

At 12 years old, Snookie the chiweenie may be small, but she’s got a big presence—and a bigger love for treats. 🍖💛

Snookie came to Noah's Animal House Foundation as part of a large family of dogs, including two of her own pups. A sweet senior with a heart of gold (and a slightly chunky frame from all those “good girl” snacks), Snookie wasn’t thrilled when she went into heat while in their care. She made her grumpiness known—but with some extra pets (and more treats, of course), she powered through like the queen she is. 👑

Georgie

At 15 years old, Georgie has been Vanja’s loyal companion for over five years—offering comfort, love, and joy every step of the way. 💛

But when Georgie began experiencing cluster seizures, Vanja was overwhelmed with worry. A veterinary visit confirmed he needed further testing and treatment to manage his condition—care that came with a price tag Vanja simply couldn’t afford. She was heartbroken, knowing how much Georgie meant to her and how helpless she felt in that moment.

Stanley

When Stanley arrived, his body told the story of hardship—but his spirit? Pure sunshine. ☀️ This calm, gentle boy leaned into every pet, grateful just to be near people who cared.

Thanks to a grant from The Grey Muzzle Organization, North Country Pet Adoption Services was able to get Stanley the medical care he needed—including treatment for a surprise heartworm diagnosis. 💛

Shadow

We knew Shadow her entire life, and not a day went by that she wasn’t loved deeply. She was always around us as snuggling or just watching us calmly and happily. She did once steal a chicken finger off a stranger’s plate when we took...
