This page is dedicated to the Grey Muzzle Always In My Heart campaign donors. During the year, our supporters celebrate the pets they have cherished by making a special "in memory of" donation to the Always In My Heart campaign. A gift of $20 or more supports senior dogs nationwide who have become homeless when they are most in need.

Austin, from the day you came into my life at 8 weeks old, you were my heart dog. Always by my side, always able to read my moods and comfort me when I was down.
You were the happiest dog ever, always a smile on your face!
I miss playing ball and frisbee with you. I miss you by my side. You gave me 14 1/2 years of amazing unconditional love and not a day will go by that you are not on my mind and in my heart until we meet again on the other side of the bridge.
Morgan & MaryLynn Allred
For two dogs who never quite saw eye to eye, it of course came as a shock when you followed one another to the rainbow bridge just a few months ago. Mitzy, you were a shining light of love in our household and our best friend from the day you walked into our lives. Thank you so much for allowing us to adopt you into our family when you were almost 9 years old, sharing your best years with us, and changing our lives forever. Max, you grew up with us for 10 years and they all flew by so quickly that they feel as though they never happened. No amount of time would have prepared us to lose you at such a young age, but we understand that you missed Mitzy as soon as she passed away and wanted to make sure she wasn't alone. You both are missed so much each and every day, and we hope that this contribution made on December 20th, your birthday, Max, will reflect even just a fraction of the good you both did throughout your lives. We will love you forever. Once an Allred, always an Allred
My first grey muzzle boy - he touched many hearts and we will always love him:)
Clint was the most amazing dog in the universe.
He was so kind and loving to everyone, both humans and other dogs. He was a goodwill ambassador for his breed. He touched so many hearts and brought joy and happiness wherever he went.
Cancer took him from me at 7 1/2 .. so unfair ! He was my soulmate , best friend and the love of my life.

Four years ago, Phrankie was picked up as a stray by the NCCSPCA in NJ. I saw his urgent senior-pittie post (photo bottom left) on Facebook and knew this dog deserved a second chance, maybe a last chance at a good life. NCCSPCA offered a free adoption and free medical care for this senior dog courtesy of The Grey Muzzle. We were able to snag him as a foster with the assistance of The Polished Pitbull in PA and a few other amazing helping hands. They warned us that seniors are tough to get adopted and we may have him for some time.
Well, within weeks, we were foster failures as surely, deeply, we fell in love with this sweet, wandering soul. He was the perfect fit to our home and lifestyle.
Phrankie spent four wonderful years basking in the sun, road tripping up and down the East Coast, snuggling with his adoring people, frolicking with his best friend, Luxy and most importantly, indulging in FOOD!
We are so very thankful for all of those involved in Phrankenstein's rescue, as we are forever blessed having had him in our lives.
Friends of Buffy
Remembering Buffy... Today was your birthday 11-4-17. We lost you a year & a half ago but not a day goes by that I don't think about you. You were with us 16.5 yrs & everyone still remembers your strength. So small & tough battling many health issue & blind from birth but always determined to keep going. We raised money for Grey Muzzle with help from our wonderful coworkers, family & friends by walking Greenway Trail (your favorite place to walk) start to finish 6.8 miles in your memory. You are forever loved & in our hearts xoxo
Lillie was "sweetness" defined. She shared her struggle and fight with the world to let others know they weren't alone in their battles with Cushing's disease and diabetes. Through it all she kept her head high and a loving heart. Run free and sleep in peace.
In memory of Fred the dog.
It's been three years since you've passed. Not a day goes by that I don't think about you Bubba. We miss buying apples for you. Eating licorice is just not the same without you. I hope you're eating lots of apples, pig ears and peanut butter! Keelah misses her big brother. She's just not the same with out Bubba's kisses.
Love and butt scratches,
Momma and Papa John
My faithful, loving companion for 16 years, 8 months and 25 days. Sissy you are still in my heart, we shall be together again in the not too distant future.
