The Grey Muzzle Organization has experienced significant growth over the past few years. We are delighted to announce that we have reached another milestone. This month we hired our first Executive Director, Dr. Lisa Lunghofer.
Dr. Lisa holds a Ph.D. in social policy, an M.A. in psychology, and has 20 years of experience developing and evaluating programs in the areas of violence prevention, child and animal welfare, and human-animal interaction. She is personally invested in the welfare of older dogs, sharing her home with three dogs, two of whom will be celebrating their thirteenth birthday next month.
For the past year, Dr. Lisa has served on Grey Muzzle’s Advisory Board, and we have had the pleasure of working closely with her on strategic planning and board development. She has proven to be insightful, passionate and dedicated to improving the lives of homeless senior dogs. We are confident Dr. Lisa has the knowledge, skills, experience and talent to successfully lead The Grey Muzzle Organization, helping us to build on our achievements and pursue exciting new opportunities to help senior dogs and the people—like you—who love them.
We welcome Dr. Lisa to our wonderful team. You can learn more about Lisa here.
