Chewpee

At 15 years old, Chewpee the Chihuahua lost both of his owners within six months after they each sadly passed away. Family members noticed that his health and emotional state were in decline but could not afford costly veterinary care. They decided that euthanasia might be the most humane option, but the private practice veterinary euthanasia fees were also beyond reach. As a last resort, they brought Chewpee to Maui Humane Society to say a heartbreaking goodbye...

Bonded pair Sherlock and Watson were rescued by Animal Rescue New Orleans from a rural shelter where limited resources and overflowing animals meant these two seniors needed help. This sweet duo had trouble eating due to the pain from infection, and they were in dire need of a dental with extractions.

Kip

When Kip was first rescued by our friends at The Animal Rescue Mission, he was skin and bone and missing huge patches of fur. Kip stayed in their hospital for several months to recover. Once Kip was finally healthy enough to leave the clinic, he looked and felt like a brand-new dog.
