Noah’s Animal House Foundation welcomes the pets of victims of domestic violence fleeing dangerous homes. The pets receive everything from emergency medical care to special food and orthopedic beds. Every pet stays as long as needed while their family lives next door in the domestic violence services shelter. The families come in daily to snuggle, play, heal, and share unconditional love with their pets during visits to the “cuddle rooms.” Noah’s staff care for these precious pets while the families seek jobs and a new home, receive medical care, and work toward their goals. Noah’s Animal House serves pets in its Las Vegas and Reno facilities in partnership with domestic violence shelter providers.

Dogs like 13-year-old Junior arrive at Noah’s Animal House Foundation frightened by the abuse they have suffered along with the people they love. The Grey Muzzle grant will pay for senior dogs’ emergency veterinary care, medication, and treatment for chronic illnesses during their stay at Noah’s.
