Foothills Animal Shelter helps make lives better for people and pets in Jefferson County, Colorado. As a socially conscious shelter, Foothills believes in creating the best outcomes for all animals that rely on the shelter in their time of need. A true resource for the pets and people they serve, Foothills provides pet adoptions, pet licensing, lost and found services, low-cost vaccinations, and microchipping. The Better Together Programs work to keep pets with their families by providing resources to pet owners. 

Foothills Animal Shelter is incredibly grateful to have the support of The Grey Muzzle Organization. This grant will assist in providing dental surgeries for senior dogs, which will improve their health, comfort, and likelihood of adoption. By providing dental surgery while in Foothills' care, senior dogs like Loka will look and feel their best, ultimately helping them get adopted more quickly and reducing the time spent in the shelter.
