    Emily Grossheider
    Executive Director

    Emily is an experienced animal welfare leader with more than 15 years of dedication to advancing the wellbeing of animals, with a special passion for senior dogs. She holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration with an emphasis in nonprofit management and is a Certified Animal Welfare Administrator, bringing a strong blend of strategic leadership, program development, and mission-driven stewardship to her work. Throughout her career, Emily has focused on building sustainable programs, supporting animal welfare organizations, and advocating for vulnerable animals who are too often overlooked or misunderstood.

    Driven by both compassion and impact, Emily is especially committed to improving the lives of aging dogs and the people who love them. Outside of her professional work, she enjoys spending time with her own dogs, exploring the beaches and trails of Central California and celebrating the simple joys that come with sharing life with beloved companions.
