Bartlett is an eight-year-old miniature poodle who arrived at Norfolk Animal Care & Adoption Center as a stray. This was certainly a blessing in disguise for poor Bartlett.
When he arrived, the shelter manager noted he had a host of issues, including matted fur, fleas and fecal scalds. He also had a corneal ulcer and needed a thorough dental exam. It would take a lot of time, resources and treatment to get Bartlett back on the road to health.
Thanks to a Grey Muzzle grant to the Friends of Norfolk Animal Care Center, Bartlett got all the care he needed, including a senior blood panel. Finally, after his dental, Bartlett got adopted into a loving home immediately.
