Roxy is a sweet and loving ten-year-old Shepherd mix. She was adopted from Father John’s Animal House years ago, but her family fell upon very difficult times and had to surrender her back earlier this year. Back at Father John’s as a senior, she needed surgery to have a mammary mass removed, which her family could not provide. But thanks to the caring staff at Father John’s and a recent grant from The Grey Muzzle Organization, Roxy got the treatment she needed to feel like a puppy again.
During her recovery time at Father John’s, she enjoyed short walks and loads of attention. There was a family who was interested in her as soon as she was medically cleared to go home. So, after lots of change this year, Roxy is finally living with love, security and comfort with her new people.
