Paris

Paris is the most precious! This sweet senior lady arrived to Lucky Dog Animal Rescue heartworm positive. Lucky Dog's Grey Muzzle grant allows them to provide diagnostic and medical care for senior dogs living in foster homes. Funding is also used to provide screening and medical care for senior dogs who are up for adoption, ensuring their new families have a clear understanding of their health needs.

Paris received the heartworm treatment she needed. And since there are no significant long-term effects from heartworm, Paris resumed her normal, active (for a senior!) life. After her treatment and recovery, Paris was ready to find her forever home.

This nine-year-old lab mix landed a family that loves taking her on walks and giving her cuddles on the couch!
