    How Grey Muzzle Helped
Keeping Senior Pets in Homes Grant
    Organization

Access to veterinary care saved 13.5-year-old Angelina's life, giving her more cherished time with her mom, a legally blind veteran.

Her story seems simple, but without the funds to access care, Angelina's quality of life was so poor that her mom was facing a heartbreaking end-of-life decision. Angelina's liver values were sky high, and she suffered from a painful pot belly. Our friends at Hearts Alive Village Animal Clinic used their grant funds from Grey Muzzle to provide a diagnostic test that revealed Cushing's, which is thankfully a treatable disease. Since starting treatment, Angelina's symptoms have improved, and she's much more comfortable. (She even gave these big smiles for the camera!) She is receiving ongoing care to ensure her treatments are managing her condition. Angelina's mom is so grateful to have the additional time with her best friend.

We are thankful that with your support, The Grey Muzzle Organization could play a part in helping these two avoid a painful goodbye too soon and instead have many more happy times ahead. Thank you for making their happy tail possible.
