Gramps

Gramps may be close to retirement, but he still has lots of pep in his step! This senior Mastiff mix came to Prairie Paws Animal Shelter a little underweight at 87 pounds and as a stray, so not much is really known about his past. But the staff quickly discovered that this sweet guy must have had a lifetime of learning because he had excellent old school manners, knowing how to sit, stay and even shake!

Thanks to a grant from The Grey Muzzle Organization, Gramps received all the personalized medical care he needed as a senior, including a teeth cleaning, while at Prairie Paws. Happily, as part of an adoption promotion, this gentle giant was adopted into a loving forever home after just a short time.
