The Grey Muzzle Organization has one grant cycle annually.  The 2018 Grants Cycle will open for applications on Friday February 16th. If you would like to be notified when we update essential information about grants and funding cycles, please join our mailing list.

In an effort to streamline the grant process, Grey Muzzle uses an online grants application system.  Please start your grant submission by creating an account and password (greater than 8 characters).  If you applied for a grant in 2017, please login using your email address and password.  If you've forgotten your password, click HERE for help.

Please note that the Budget Template should reflect the amount you are requesting from Grey Muzzle and be consistent with your grant application. If you are requesting funds to support a portion of a larger senior dog program, please note that, including the cost of the larger program.

We are continuing our emphasis on results and program sustainability. Applications will need to include well-defined goals, measurable outcomes, and a plan for sustaining the senior dog program beyond the Grey Muzzle grant period. Please see the Frequently Asked Questions for more information.

We anticipate grants ranging from $2,500 to $7,500. Allowable costs include medical/dental care, preventive care (e.g., blood panel, blood pressure screening, urinalysis), staff time, advertising and other promotion-related costs, food, emergency assistance, and behavioral assistance.  We do not fund capital expenses.

Our grant application includes the criteria by which all proposals will be evaluated. Please take special note of these criteria and be sure that your application addresses each item.

Visit our Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) page to learn more about the grant process. If you have additional questions or need more information, please feel free to contact us at grants@greymuzzle.org.

On February 22nd, we will hold our Grey Muzzle Grants 101 webinar, where we will explain more about the elements of the application, the evaluation criteria, FAQs, and a brief overview of FluidReview, our online grants system.  You can sign-up for the webinar HERE.
