The Grey Muzzle Organization & Mutt Lynch Winery Co-Host #SeniorSips Virtual Wine Tasting

The Grey Muzzle Organization and Mutt Lynch Winery are partnering on their first-ever Virtual Wine Tasting. #SeniorSips will take place Monday, November 2 at 7:30 pm ET / 4:30 pm PT. Winemaker and owner Brenda Lynch will taste three of her limited production, current release wines that were chosen specifically for the soulful Grey Muzzle label featuring a very happy senior dog. She will also suggest her favorite food and wine pairings for the upcoming holidays and take questions from the audience. Click here to join us.

    About the Event

We have created a special wine mat to help you follow along during the tasting and enhance the experience! It includes tasting tools, a wine aroma board, and a taste structure scale. Best of all, it has a description of each wine along with the perfect senior dog to accompany each sip.

    About the Wine

In anticipation of the upcoming holidays, Brenda has chosen three of her favorite wines to feature:

Grey Muzzle 2019 Sonoma County Rosé – The 2019 vintage "rocks" with vibrant flavors of bright, red berries and hints of lemon meringue (we're not kidding) and is made with 100% Zinfandel grapes grown in the Alexander Valley of Sonoma County. And the best part is the wine’s beautiful color - perfectly pink!  Retail price $25 per bottle.

Grey Muzzle 2017 North Coast Chardonnay – Brenda has always loved the quality and character of Chardonnay from the cooler sections of the North Coast wine-growing region - ripe fruit flavors of citrus, pear and apple - paired with hints of spice and vanilla from French oak. This is a delicious, lightly oaked Chardonnay. Retail price $27 per bottle.

Grey Muzzle 2016 Sonoma County Cabernet Sauvignon – Ripe dark berry fruit, full and rich tannins, make this one of Brenda’s favorite wines. Aged in French oak barrels, this Cabernet Sauvignon has the magical ability to taste great upon release but also to age wonderfully in bottle. This 2016 vintage red wine will not disappoint on either front. Retail price $30 per bottle.

If you are interested in tasting along with Brenda, orders must be placed by Friday, October 16 to ensure delivery by November 2. The first 15 Grey Muzzle supporters who purchase the three-bottle pack of wine for the tasting will also receive a complimentary treat bag for your senior pup from Treat Me Right. However, anyone is welcome to attend the tasting even without wine purchase because we’ll also be giving away some great prizes.

    About the Prizes

Simply register to attend and you’re entered to win! The first 100 registrants to #SeniorSips will be entered to win Grey Muzzle give-a-ways! Drawings will be held throughout the tasting and you must be present to win and claim your prize. Here’s what’s up for grabs:

Mutt Lynch Winery 3-Bottle Grey Muzzle Label Pack - One bottle of each of the featured virtual tasting wines. Generously donated by Kelli Chickos.

    About the Partnership

Give a gift that gives back! All Grey Muzzle wine purchases during this period will be eligible for $10 Flat Rate Shipping.

    About the Winemaker

Winemaker and owner Brenda Lynch didn't grow up dreaming to be a winemaker. She discovered her passion for winemaking when she, husband Chris and their three dogs moved to Sonoma County in 1994. Brenda started to work in cellars in the Russian River Valley and she credits these early years as cellar worker into cellar master with providing the foundation of her winemaking philosophy - harvest beautiful fruit, treat it gently in the winery and keep the winemaking as natural as possible. In 1995, Brenda decided to make her first professional wine, a Dry Creek Valley Zinfandel, and Mutt Lynch Winery was born. Since her first vintage, Brenda has wanted to make exceptional wine and have fun sharing her wines with friends old and new. Learn more...
