"The Furminators"

Jan and Lisa from Connecticut, aka “The Furminators,” have been raising money for Grey Muzzle by furminating at events for $1 a minute, plus organizing raffles to win a Furminator. Jan says, “We are having a ton of fun spreading the word about the Grey Muzzle. People hear ‘senior dogs’ and say ‘Keep furminating.’”

Barbara Gross & Elderwand Productions

Thank you to Barbara Gross and everyone at Elderwand Productions for donating our new Grey Muzzle promotional video. It will go a long way in helping us to show people what we do for at-risk senior dogs around the country. You can see the video on our Home Page!

Edie Jarolim

Edie Jarolim is a writer, editor, author and blogger, whose blog Will My Dog Hate Me? deals with the process of saying goodbye to our canine friends. Edie had just lost one of the loves of her life, her beloved Frankie, a senior terrier mix. Edie wanted to honor Frankie and decided to use her talents to help raise money for Forever Fosters. We created "Frankie's Fund" and through Edie's hard work and generosity of spirit, she was able to raise over $3,000.

Through a Dog's Ear

Our thanks to Lisa Spector, concert pianist, Juilliard graduate, and canine music expert. Lisa is Co-founder of Through a Dog's Ear, music clinically demonstrated to calm the canine nervous system. Along with her publisher, Sounds True, they donated 50 CDs to Grey Muzzle. As Grey Muzzle does not have a facility with dogs of our own, we sent these out to our grantees to bring peace to some of their more nervous residents. Thank you Lisa and Sounds True for your generosity!
